Egypt star winger Mohamed Salah has been selected in UEFA’s Europa League team of the week following his stunning performance in the 3-0 win over local rivals AS Roma.
Despite failing to find the net in the Europa League second-leg win, Salah was hailed for his display against Roma, having been denied by the post and the bar in Viola’s away victory.
Salah featured in UEFA’s weekly list alongside two Fiorentina teammates — defender Jose Basanta and midfielder Matias Fernandez — who contributed to the win that took the Serie A side to the Europa League’s quarter finals.
