Al Ahly to boycott EFA competitions | VIDEO
Al Ahly have announced they will boycott all domestic competitions in protest at the Egyptian FA’s decision to suspend newly-signed midfielder Ahmed El-Sheikh after he signed for more than one club in the summer transfer window.
The EFA hit El-Sheikh with a four-month ban and a 330,000 LE fine after he was found found guilty of signing for Ahly and arch-rivals Zamalek – a decision that did not seem to go well down with the Reds’ board.
