Portuguese Jose Peseiro named Al Ahly Manager
Al Ahly have appointed former Real Madrid assistant manager Jose Vitor dos Santos Peseiro as their new head coach, the club announced on their official website.
Portuguese Peseiro, 55, is set to take charge of the team immediately after the Egypt Super Cup, when caretaker coach Abdel-Aziz “Zizo” Abdel-Shafi will lead the Reds against arch-rivals Zamalek.
The length of the contract, however, was not disclosed by the Ahly website, with details set to be revealed when Pesseiro arrives within the coming few hours.

His most notable achievement, however, came in 2005 when he led Portuguese giants Sporting to the Europa League final before losing the title to CSKA Moscow.
