Mohamed Salah’s agent has hit out at Fiorentina executives who ‘want to torment him’ and says: ‘Mohamed will never be banned.’

The Egyptian was sent off in Roma’s 2-1 win over the Viola yesterday, having opened the scoring.

Home fans had bought 5,000 whistles to harass Salah as a result of an ongoing feud about the winger refusing to extend his loan in Florence, resulting in attempts from the club to suspend him for breach of contract.

Salah’s agent Ramy Abbass criticised the Artemio Franchi outfit for the way they are targeting ‘an innocent 23-year-old.’

“I will do everything to be clear on this matter,” Abbass told Radio Bruno Toscana.

“Fiorentina have decided to start a battle against a club as powerful as it is innocent.
