Mohamed Salah, starting to recapture his best form after an injury late last year notably affected his displays, scored a goal, created two others and suffered an injury as AS Roma beat Carpi 3-1 away from home in the Italian Serie A on Friday.
Lucas Digne put Roma ahead with a piledriver in the 56th minute following a pass from Salah but substitute Kevin Lasagna drew Carpi level five minutes later following a terrible mistake from Roma defender Antonio Ruediger.
Egypt forward Salah then set up Eden Dzeko for Romas second goal in the 84th minute when he skipped past his challenger on the right and fed the Bosnian striker for an easy tap in.

He turned from provider to scorer two minutes later, firing in from close range after a shot was parried into his path.
Salah sustained what appeared to be a groin injury in stoppage time and was replaced with Emerson.
Its not yet clear whether he will be able to play in Romas crucial clash against Real Madrid in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 on Wednesday.
Salah, who spent a month on the sidelines due to injury late last year, has scored seven Serie A goals and one Champions League goal so far this season.
