Emad Meteb fit & Ready for Recreativo

Ahly forward Emad Meteb has recovered from a hamstring injury and is fit and ready for the team’s Saturday showdown against Angolan champions Recreativo de Libolo in the second leg of the CAF Champions League round 32.

“Meteb is fully fit and ready for the Recreativo clash after completely recovering. He joined Tuesday’s regular trainings and was performing normally,” Ahly’s doctor Khaled Mahmoud told the club’s official website.

Midfielder Hossam Ashour will remain on the sideline due to a recent injury, while the participation of goalkeeper Sherif Ekramy, who suffered an injury in February, has not yet been determined.

The record-holding eight-time CAF Champions League winners Ahly were held in a goalless draw against Recreativo away in Angola on Saturday.
