Egypt keeper Essam El-Hadary sustained an injury during Thursday’s training that will keep him on the sidelines when the Pharaohs take on Nigeria on Friday in Kaduna in a 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier.
The 43-year-old shot-stopper had to pull out of the session after suffering a calf injury.
Coach Hector Cuper dropped him from the squad and he is set to undergo scans to determine the extent of the injury.
