Twenty-two time Egypt cup winners Zamalek are bidding to console their fans by winning their fourth successive Cup.
Zamalek are aiming to win Egypt Cup 2016 to “please our loyal fans,” club football manager Ismail Youssif said.
“Zamalek is fully ready for El Shorta and Egypt Cup is the least we can present to our loyal fans,” Youssif was quoted as saying on the club’s official website.
Zamalek will clash with Africa’s Sundown on Sunday at home after, ten days before they meet away. Zamalek won their group B opener against Nigeria’s Enyimba 1-0.
