Mohamed Salah scored a great goal against Wigan at the DW Stadium,  it’s a great start to Liverpool life for Moe Salah.

Mohamed Salah got off the mark for Liverpool on his debut for the club in the first half of tonight’s friendly against Wigan Athletic.

The Egypt international tapped in from close range after good work by Brazilian duo Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino, with the latter squaring it to the new-boy to slot home left-footed.

Salah will have been signed for his goals after scoring an impressive 19 in total last season, and has wasted no time in finding the back of the net for the Reds here.

The goal came shortly before half time at the DW Stadium and cancelled out Alex Gilbey’s opener for the home side, making it 1-1 at the break.
Jurgen Klopp is expected to make a number of changes to his side for the second half, so it remains to be seen if Salah can add to his strike later in the game.
