Mohamed Elneny working hard to recover from ankle injury | VIDEO
Elneny was replaced by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at half-time during Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Sutton United after a hefty challenge in the FA Cup last Monday, but no official statement by the team has revealed the seriousness of the Egyptian’s injury.
Meanwhile, reports have suggested that that the 24-year-old midfielder had his ankle scanned after the win and that he has been ruled out for three weeks, though there has been no confirmation from the player himself or from the Gunners.
Despite now needing to wear a boot as he recovers from ankle ligament damage, that hasn’t stopped Elneny from keeping up his fitness.

As you can see in the video at the top of the page, Elneny’s still been hitting the gym – this time for a tough upper body rope workout.
