Elneny turns down Leicester City’s transfer offer
Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has turned down a 10m bid from Leicester City because he enjoys life in London.
According to The Sun? the Londoners accepted a bid for the 25-year-old and allowed the Egyptian to speak to Leicester about personal terms.
But despite limited game time for the Gunners last season? Elneny has decided to stay at the Emirates.
He made just 14 appearances last season for Arsenal and only eight of those were in the starting line-up.
And with Aaron Ramsay, Francis Coquelin, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Granit Xhaka who can play in his position, it seems Elnenys chances may be limited next season too.
But it seems the player is enjoying life in London, he is happy to stay put having settled so well since a 5m move from Swiss side FC Basel last January.
