Searching for an end to their ten-year Cup drought, League champions Ahly will face resilient Masry in the Egypt Cup final at Borg El-Arab stadium on Tuesday.

Ahly have won seven league titles in the last ten years but have failed to win the double, despite reaching the Egypt Cup final three times.

They lost the two previous finals to archrivals Zamalek, while in 2009 they lost to Harras El-Hodoud 4-5 on penalties.

Ahly’s 4-0 win over Smouha in the semis last week reveals that the Red Devils have bounced back from their Arab championship elimination and are determined to win their first Cup since 2007.
