The Men’s Player of the Year gong has got plenty talking in the buildup to the event, with Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah in a tight battle for the prize.
In addition to De Bruyne, City have two more players shortlisted in David Silva and Leroy Sane.
The Women’s Player of the Year award will also be dished out, with five of the six nominees from Chelsea.
In addition, there will be the Men’s and Women’s Young Player of the Year accolades for two of English football’s brightest stars.
