Egypt 65th in FIFA’s September global rankings
After smashing Niger 6-0 in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers (CAN 2019), Egypt have moved up one place in the FIFA monthly rankings for September to become 64th globally.
The Pharaohs played their first game after the 2018 World Cup finals against Niger, beating the Menas 6-0 in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifies two weeks ago.
Egypt ranked 10th in Africa and third among Arab countries after Tunisia (24) and Morocco (46).
Tunisia, who jumped one position this month, top the African rankings while Senegal became second among African countries.
