Koka scores stunning late goal as Olympiacos beats Panionios Athens
Olympiacos’ Egyptian striker Ahmed Hassan’Koka’ opened his scoring account in Greece after scoring the winner in his side’s 1-0 win over Panionios Athens in a league game on Monday.
The international ace came off the bench as a late substitute in 77 minutes to help his side to a precious win upon scoring in injury time.
Koka broke the deadlock when he headed home a pinpoint cross sent from the right flank.
The 24-year-old joined Olympiacos — who are now leading the league table with 12 points, two ahead of second-placed PAOK — last summer from Portugal’s Sporting Braga.
Koka was one of 13 foreign-based players called up by Egypt coach Javier Aguirre for the Pharaohs’ two-legged tie against Swaziland in the Nations Cup qualifiers.
