Kahraba & Obama on target as Zamalek cruise past Al Masry | VIDEO

Zamalek bounced-back on Thursday from their Arab defeat last week they defeated Masry in a postponed league game at Alexandria’s Borg El-Arab stadium.
On Friday, the 12-time league champions were eliminated from the Zayed Cup round of 16 after losing to Ittihad of Alexandria 3-4 on Penalties.

Mahmoud ‘Kahraba’ Abdel-Moneam opened the scoring in the 12th minute, while Youssef ‘Obama’ doubled the score, seven minutes before the break.

Both players netted their seventh league goal this season, one goal short of their teammate Mahmoud Alaa who is leading the League top scorers list with eight goals.

Zamalek’s Thursday’s win is the seventh in a row in the Egyptian league this season and puts the Cairo giants on top of the table with 35 points, nine points ahead of second-place Pyramids.
