Egypt’s Olympic Soccer Team will face Romania today in their preparation camp for the 2012 London Olympics Games.
The Olympic team will play in (UAE) Emirates on the 21st of February against Romania and on the 24th of February with Uzbekistan Olympic National Team.
There will be a pause during that period as the first national team, under the management of American coach Bob Bradley will be preparing for a game with the Central African Republic on 29 February in 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
“I have reached an agreement with Mr. Bradley to coordinate together in picking the squads,” Ramzy said.
The Young Pharaohs finished third in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) championships, held in Morocco, qualifying for the 2012 London Olympics. Their last appearance at the quadrennial showpiece came in 1992, when they lost in Barcelona against Spain and Qatar, though they defeated Colombia, and failed to progress beyond the group stage.
