Pyramids FC 1-0 Algeria’s Belouizdad | Match Highlights

Egyptian side Pyramids FC secured their place in the Confederation Cup playoffs after claiming a 1-0 away win over Algeria’s Belouizdad in the second leg of the competition’s second preliminary round on Sunday.

Substitute striker John Antwi scored the winner six minutes after replacing winger Eslam Issa in the 50th minute.

Pyramids, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Belouizdad in the first-leg in Cairo two weeks ago, qualified for the next round with a 2-1 aggregate win.

The Egyptian side will face one of the teams that exited the African Champions League in the next round for a place in the Confederation Cup group stage.
