Hegazi saves the day Egypt 1-1 Botswana
The Pharos were held to a 1-1 draw by Botswana in Cairo in their last warm-up for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
An early goal by Jerome Ramatlhakwane gave Botswana a shock fifth minute lead, but Fiorentina’s central defender Hegazi equalized with a header near the break.
Egypt prepare to take on Zimbabwe in Harare on June 9 before visiting Mozambique in the penultimate round of Group G.
