Al Ahly president Sues Zamalek’s President Mortada Mansour

Al Ahly president Mahmoud El Khatib on Sunday filed a complaint to Egypt’s Attorney General Hamada al-Sawy against Zamalek’s President Mortada Mansour after an “abuse video” attributed to him.

An “abuse video” attributed to Mansour went viral on social media platforms, showing Zamalek’s president insulting El-Kahtib and the state’s institutions.

During his complaint, El Khatib called upon the Attorney General to take all the legal actions against Zamalek’s president.

“What happened undermines the values of the Egyptian society,” El-Khatib said in a statement.

On his part, Mansour said that the video has been fabricated to make sedition between him and some characters in Egypt.
