Al Ahly Players & assistant coach tested positive for COVID-19

Al Ahly director of football Sayed Abdelhafiz has announced that team goalkeeper Ali Lotfy and central defender Yasser Ibrahim have tested positive for COVID19. Additionally, Rene Weiler’s assistant David Sesa also tested positive.

The Reds are just coming out of an important league outing on Monday after they had their celebrations for the 42nd Egyptian Premier League title postponed as they failed to seal the title with a goalless draw against El-Ettehad.
