Tala’ea El Gaish ends Zamalek’s Cup Dream

Tala’ea El Gaish qualified for the Egypt Cup finals on Tuesday after thrashing Zamalek 3-1 in the semi-finals and will face Al Ahly who defeated Ittihad of Alexandria 2-1.

Tala’a Al Gaish’s right back opened the scoring after 37 minutes with a free-kick from the outside of the box as he unleashed a right-foot shot past Genish.

Shikabala netted the equalizer in the injury time of the first half through an excellent free-kick after firing a left-foot shot to the left corner to make it 1-1.

Amr Mary pounced on Gennish’s slip, netting the third for Al Gaish, after netting from a close range.

The Video Assistant Referee disallowed Ounajem’s goal due to an offside, as the goal came after an excellent cross from Roaa, who lifted a well-played cross to the penalty area, where Ounajem, who fired a left-foot shot to the bottom corner.
