Belgian Jupiler League club Standard Liege have confirmed the signing of Egyptian international Emad Moteab.
A statement on the club’s official website stated:
“The Egyptian international Emad Moteab – out of contract with Al Ahly – and the directors of Standard Liege have reached an agreement for the next two seasons, with the option of one more year. The attacker will join the club as soon as the paperwork has been filed. We will keep you informed of the final steps of the transfer.”
The 27-year-old striker has been a part of the Egyptian team that have claimed the last three successive African Cup of Nations tournaments.
