Zamalek cemented their Egyptian League’s leadership by defeating Enppi 3-1 at Cairo Stadium.

Obama opened the scoring for the White Knights after only three minutes following a nice move towards the penalty area, before curling the ball into the net.

Ramy Sabry leveled the scoring from a penalty spot in the 30th minute after the referee reviewed the VAR.

Bencharki’s header gave Zamalek the advantage once again in the 34th minute.

Saif El-Din Gaziri came close to netting the third when he fired a powerful shot from the inside of the box, but it was saved by ENNPI’s keeper.

Mahmoud Alaa added the third goal for Zamalek in the 44th minute with a powerful header.

The White Knights, who snatched a late 1-1 Cairo derby draw with Ahly last Monday, have 48 points, seven clear of their perennial rivals. However, Ahly can overtake them if they win their three matches in hand.
