Egypt’s Olympic Football Team in Tokyo | VIDEO
Egypt’s Olympic national team landed on Friday in Tokyo to partake in the Olympics Games, which will kick off on July 23 till August 8.
The Pharaohs were drawn into a tough group, alongside Argentina, Spain, and Australia.
On Friday, July 9, Egypt’s U-23 Coach Shawky Gharib announced his main squad for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, set to take place in Tokyo on 23rd July.
Gharib called off the three over-age players, Al Ahly’s goalkeeper Mohamed El Shenawy, Defender Ahmed Hegazy, and Zamalek’s defender Mahmoud El Winsh.

Goalkeepers: Mohamed El-Shennawy, Mohamed Sobhi, Mahmoud Gad
Defenders: Ahmed Aboul Fotouh – Karim Fouad – Ahmed Hegazy – Mahmoud Al Wensh – Mohamed Abdel Salam – Ahmed Ramadan “Beckham” – Osama Jalal – Karim Al Iraqi.
Midfielders: Akram Tawfik – Ammar Hamdi – Imam Ashour – Nasser Maher – Ramadan Sobhi – Ibrahim Adel – Abdel Rahman Magdy – Taher Mohamed Taher.
Forwards: Ahmed Yaser Rayan, Salah Mohsen, Naser Mansi
