Saturday OCT. 28th, 2017 Al Ahly will face Wydad in the CAF CL FINAL

Al Ahly football director Sayed Abdel Hafiz said Monday the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially informed his club the home match of the Champions League against Morocco’s Wydad Athletic Club would be played Saturday.

Ahly snatched a place in the final Sunday with a 7-4 win on aggregate over Tunisia’s Etoile du Sahel.

The match will be played at Alexandria’s Borg El-Arab stadium; one day earlier of the previously requested date by the Cairo giants.

60 000-80 000 fans will be allowed in the stadium to boost Al Ahly in the first leg of the CAF Champions league final.

The Moroccan team is yet to determine the date of the return leg that is supposed to be played in Casablanca on 3, 4 or 5 November.

Al Ahly have the best record in the Champions League with eight titles.
