Zamalek trashed Zambia’s Nkana Red Devils 5-0 in the CAF Champions League .
The five goals on the night – all scored in brilliant fashion – meant a 5-0 aggregate victory for the Egyptians, following the goalless draw in Zambia.
Ahmed Tawfik scored his first-ever goal for the club to pave way for the comprehensive victory, with Momen Zakaria doubling the lead before half time.
In the second half Omar Gaber, Hazem Emam and Ahmed Gaafar all got their names on the scoresheet to send Mido’s side through.
Zamalek join Esperance, Sfaxien, Ahli Benghazi, Mazembe, Vita Club and ES Setif to the last eight.
