Mohamed Salah Clinches Fourth Premier League Golden Boot

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has claimed the Premier League Golden Boot for the fourth time, matching the all-time record held by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.

The Egyptian forward scored 29 goals this season, including the crucial equalizer in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace that sealed Liverpool’s record-equalling 20th English top-flight title.

Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak finished second with 23 goals, while Manchester City’s Erling Haaland—winner of the last two Golden Boots—came third with 22.

Salah had previously topped the scoring charts in the 2017/18, 2018/19, and 2021/22 seasons. With a fresh two-year contract extension at Anfield, the 32-year-old now has the chance to surpass Henry’s record outright.

This campaign also saw Salah contribute 18 assists and complete a rare sweep of individual honors, winning both the Football Writers’ Association and Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year awards.
