Egypt will meet Chad without Ahly and Zamalek players as goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari is ruled out with injury.
Following Thursday’s 2-1 win over Uganda, nine key players left the national team’s Sudan camp as Cairo giants Ahly and Zamalek prepare for continental games next week.
The nine members, including match-winner Mohamed Abou-Treika, have all started the game against Uganda as coach Bob Bradley is now left with very limited choices.
The American now has a total of 14 players to choose from against the African minnows.
First-choice keeper Al-Hadari picked up a hamstring injury, which means that youngster Ahmed Al-Shennawi is poised to play 90 minutes on Saturday.
