Super Barakat keeps Ahly on Top – Ahly 1-1 Zamalek
Mohamed Barakat came off the bench to salvage a decisive point for Ahli against Zamalek in an evenly-balanced Cairo derby.
The veteran midfielder equalized to cancel out Mohamed Ibrahim�s first-half opener for the Whites and a 1-0 defeat to Mazembe at Berekum Chelsea meant that Ahli had regained top spot.
The crucial point also helped the Egyptian champions avoid a crunch semi-final clash with defending champions Esperance as they now face Nigeria�s Sunshine Stars.
Barakat�s strike preserved his superb personal record of 19 unbeaten games on the trot against Zamalek.
