Zamalek will be looking to overcome their fans’ absence in the CAF Champions League round of 32 first leg against Kabuscorp when they visit the Angolans on Friday.
The Whites could only register a narrow 1-0 victory over Kabuscorp in Cairo a week ago after being required to play the game behind closed doors following altercations between their fans and security forces.
“We will play only to win in Angola,” Zamalek star Mido was quoted as saying by Egypt’s state-run news agency MENA on Tuesday.
“Kabuscorp fans are likely to put pressure on their players so as to score from the start after their team were defeated in Cairo.
“Our players have the qualities that enable them to play normally against a large number of the opponent’s supporters.”
