VIDEO: Foreign manager will be appointed soon for ZAMALEK

Zamalek chairman Mortada Mansour confirmed that a foreign manager will be appointed in the near future following the sacking of Mido in the wake of the 2-0 Cairo derby defeat to Ahly on Tuesday.

“Zamalek will appoint a foreign manager in the near future,” Mortada said in a phone-in to NileSport TV.

“The decision to sack Mido was almost taken after the Ismaily defeat; Zamalek have been playing so bad for maybe six or seven games.

“In all cases, we will hold an emergency meeting within an hour or so to decide who’ll be the upcoming coach.”
