Stoke City’s BOSS Can’t wait to work with Ramadan Sobhi

MARK Hughes admits he can’t wait to get working with prospective new signing Ramadan Sobhi.

He expects the 19 year-old Egyptian winger to complete his move from Al Alhy to Stoke City early next week.

Hughes met Sobhi for the first time yesterday after he arrived for his medical and the Stoke boss was duly impressed.

Speaking after today’s 3-0 loss here at Burton, Hughes said: “We are hoping that (deal) is going to be concluded quite soon.

“I met him last night and he seems a very mature young man and we’ve got high hopes for him.

“So I’m very pleased he’s going to join us and I’m looking forward to working with him.

“The Egyptian league isn’t an easy league, so he’s obviously capable of dealing with that aspect and I’m sure he will have an impact with us.”
