West Brom & Aston Villa eyeing BASSEM MORSY
West Brom are monitoring Egypt international striker Basem Morsy.
The 25-year-old plays his club football for Zamalek and has scored 29 goals in 69 games while adding seven goals for his country in ten internationals.
Morsy is valued at around 5million. Stoke City and Aston Villa have also checked on him though had concerns whether he would qualify for a work permit.
Stoke have been known to look at Egyptian talent in the past. They signed Ramadan Sobhi last year though he has made just seven appearances for the first team.
Villa are keen to bring in a replacement striker for Rudy Gestede, who they sold earlier this month to Middlesbrough.
It is understood that Steve Bruce sees Morsy as capable enough in front of goal in the Championship.
