BREAKING: AS Roma accepts £40m offer from Liverpool for Salah

AS Roma have approved a £40m bid from Liverpool for the services of Mohamed Salah.

The Egypt international has been identified by Liverpool as having the right profile to add to their squad and the clubs have been in discussions.

Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claim the proposed £40m sale of Salah to the Reds could help balance their books – doing away with the need to sell Nainggolan.

Roma have a deadline of June 30 by which to comply with new Financial Fair Play rules or risk a potentially hefty fine from European football’s governing body UEFA.
