Monaco came out as surprise champions in the Ligue 1, while Stoke City had a disappointing EPL campaign, both teams will have a lot to prepare for next season.
Monaco has had a quiet off-season since being crowned champions of the Ligue 1 last season. It seems like Kylian Mbappe-Lottin will remain on the Ligue 1 side, which could help Monaco reach another league title and a solid run in the Champions League. A significant departure from the team was the Portuguese winger, Bernardo Silva but the fresh signings like Tielemans should help stabilize the club.
Stoke City had a very disappointing 2016-2017 EPL campaign, finishing in thirteenth, with a squad that was capable of doing much more. Mark Hughes has had a quiet offseason, with the most notable signing being the young English striker, Saido Berahino from West Bromwich Albion.
