Zamalek draw 0-0 against El-Entag | Egyptian League

Zamalek kept new coach Ehab Galal looking for a new win after another below-par performance saw them settle for a dull 0-0 draw with El-Entag El-Harby in the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday.

Galal’s debut was spoiled last week when Zamalek slumped to an embarrassing 3-0 Cairo derby defeat by Ahly and the team extended their winless run to three matches following the draw against El-Entag.

The White Knights almost lost hopes of challenging for the league title and they will now face an uphill climb to finish as runners-up and earn an African Champions League spot.

They slipped to fifth in the table with 29 points, a massive 12 behind leaders Ismaily and 10 behind second-placed Ahly, who have two matches in hand.
