Egypt booked their place at this year’s Olympic Games in Tokyo after claiming the African Men’s Handball Championship title following their 27-22 win over Tunisia

Egypt remained undefeated in the tournament as they qualified for the main round after topping Group A with maximum six points.
The Pharaohs qualified for the final after beating Algeria 30-27 in the semi-final, while Eagles of Carthage reached the final after thrashing Angola with 39-29 score.

Egypt also reached the semi-final after topping their group in the quarter-final following their two consecutive victories over Gabon and Angola.
Tunisia will enter the world play-offs to win a seat at the Olympics.
