£200M Price Tag for Tottenham’s golden boy Harry Kane
Tottenham Hotspur will demand a sum of £200M for star striker Harry Kane after the player intimated that he might leave the club soon.
Kane in an Instagram Q&A session with Jammie Redknapp, Kane admitted that his ambition was to win trophies something believed to have attracted the attention of some of his suitors.
According to Daily Mail, Manchester United and Real Madrid are monitoring the situation at Spurs with the club ready to play tough on a player that has led their attack in the past three seasons.
The price, however, is expected to be reduced if Spurs don’t qualify for the Champions League with the team having had struggled in the game before the coronavirus break.
It is reported that player valuations have been slashed amid the outbreak of COVID-19 and it’s unlikely any potential suitor will be willing to match Tottenham’s valuation of Kane something that might force him to feature for the club for another season.
The England striker has missed the club’s last 15 games in all competitions due to an injury at a time when the North London side was eliminated from the Champions League.
Kane has scored 11 goals in 20 league appearances in 2019/20 and is on course to finish with his lowest return in a single league campaign since 2013/14 (6 goals).
