Cameroon made a poor start to their 2010 World Cup campaign to lose 1-0 to Japan in the Group E affair on Monday.
Keisuke Honda scored the only goal of the game to send Japan second of the group, behind leaders Holland who beat Denmark 2-0.
Cameroon boss Paul le Guen made several changes to the side which mostly represented the Lions in the 2010 African Cup of Nations.
