Juventus in talks with Luis Suarez
FC Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is in talks with Juventus over a potential move in the summer.
Suarez is said to have been told by the new Barca boss Ronald Koeman that he wasn’t in his plans as they aim to price Lautaro Martinez from Inter.
Tuttosport now claims that Suarez has made contact with Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved over a potential move even though there are offers in place from the Major League Soccer.
Juventus are aiming to replace Gonzalo Higuain this summer and over the past few weeks, they have been linked with a move for AS Roma’s Edin Dzeko but his club would only let him leave if they can find a perfect replacement.
Suarez has been who has been a consistent performer for Barca over the past six years bagged 21 goals and 12 assists from 36 appearances last term despite struggling with multiple knee injuries and will be an asset for Juve who are looking for a proven striker.
Pirlo confirmed that Higuain will be leaving the club but it isn’t clear yet where the Argentine striker will be in the comings season with Sami Khedira expected to follow him out the door as the new manager revamps his squad.
