The young Pharaohs started a training camp last week that will see the team face South Korea tonight and Brazil on November 17th, 2020 respectively.

Gharib still acknowledged that Egypt’s senior team should be given priority in player selection as they gear up for a doubleheader against Togo in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

“Egypt’s coach Gharib will wait to see the state of Pyramids FC winger Ramadan Sobhi, Zamalek’s striker Mostafa Mohamed, Ahly’s Taher Mohamed Taher and Akram Tawfiq and gauge whether they will remain on the senior team or be sent back to the U-23 team,” read a statement by the Olympic national technical staff.

Egypt reached the Olympic Games after winning the U-23 Nations Cup on home soil in November last year.

Defenders: Ahmed ” Beckham ” Ramadan, Mohamed Abdel-Salam, Mahmoud Saber, Mahmoud Marie, Ahmed Yassien, Hassan Ali, Mahmoud El-Badry, Karim El-Iraqi, Karim Fouad.
