The summer transfer window will soon be open and although the market is set to be quieter than it normally is because of the COVID-19 pandemic around the world, there are still some big names that could switch clubs this Summer.
The Premier League is where we are going to focus, and as always, there have been plenty of reports already starting to circulate around all of the big clubs such as Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool.
Along with those big clubs, here are some more leading names that could be wearing new club colours by the time the 2021/22 season gets underway..
Jack Grealish
As one of the hottest properties in world football right now, Aston Villa will do well to keep hold of Jack Grealish beyond this season, especially if he helps England to go deep into the Euros this summer.
The Villa captain has been talked about in the same breath as the great Paul Gasgoince in recent months and has lived up to the billing with goals and assists for his boyhood club so far this season.
Manchester United were reported to be interested in securing his services prior to the current campaign and may reignite their interests as they aim to close the gap between themselves and neighbors Manchester City.
Arsenal are also believed to be keeping tabs on Grealish and they also look to improve their side which has so far lacked that creative spark that manager Mikel Arteta is so desperate to have in his side at the Emirates.
Danny Ings
He has already had one taste of the big time with Liverpool, but after a fairly serious injury, Danny Ings is hoping to get another shot at Champions League football.
Currently, with Southampton, the English striker netted over 25 times last season and is already averaging close to a goal every other game this term, with 10 goals from 26 appearances so far.
Those kinds of records are few and far behind in European football, which is why a plethora of clubs are sniffing around for the 28-year-old. Ings, himself, has reportedly held off signing a new deal with the Saints, with Tottenham the most likely club to try and secure his services in the summer months.
David Alaba
Despite only just really reaching his footballing peak in terms of age, David Alaba has long been regarded as one of the best footballers in Europe. The 28-year-old has been at Bayern Munich for the last 13 years and although he normally operates as a left-back, his versatility means he’s equally adept in midfield, a trait that he developed during his time under Pep Guardiola in Munich.
Europe’s giant clubs have always shown interest in the Austrian international, but with him being out of contract at the end of the season, many of those sides are more interested in trying to seal a deal.
Liverpool were the first to show a genuine intent to sign the full-back, but now Real Madrid have emerged as the front runners after offering Alaba a lucrative contract that is believed to have bettered the £13m-a-year deal that Bayern put on the table to make him stay.
Although a deal could be before the end of the season, it’s likely to include Alaba joining, which club he chooses, in the summer when the current season comes to an end.

For that reason, bookies offer a full range of football betting markets such as outright odds on all the major leagues including betting markets for Euro 2020, as well as match betting markets available on the correct score and first goalscorer.
Along with that, many of the leading sports bookmakers are now offering markets on all the latest transfer gossip, including the option to place a bet on the ‘next club’ odds for big-name players with Dele Alli currently 4/9 to join PSG and Christian Eriksen 6/4 to go back to Tottenham.
