Zamalek will face Masry in the Egypt Cup quarter-final today at 10 AM ET | 13:00 Cairo Local Time, at Alexandria’s Borg El-Arab Stadium.
The quarter-finals of the 2021/2022 Egypt Cup 89th season will be played behind closed doors, the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced on Monday, without stating the reason behind the decision.

Zamalek striker Samson Akinyoola returned to the team’s training on Wednesday after more than a week of unsanctioned absence, ending speculation regarding his future.
The Benin frontman was due to return to Cairo on 14 November following the end of an international break but failed to show up.
He told Zamalek’s football director that passport issues had delayed his return but his absence prompted speculation over his future, with some reports suggesting that he might be considering leaving the club he joined in the summer.
The club said they would impose a heavy fine on Akinyoola, who joined from Venezuelan team Caracas FC last summer.
The 22-year-old has made two substitute appearances with Zamalek so far this season, scoring once.
The EFA announced that the final of the 2021/2022 Egypt Cup will be played on 3 February 2023 at Cairo International Stadium, while the semifinals of Egypt’s secondary club competition will be played on 16 January 2023.
The White Knights, Zamalek, won the last edition of Egypt Cup (2020/2021), securing their 28th Egypt Cup title after beating archrivals Ahly 2-1 in the final in July.
