Anfield will play host to the 25th Premier League fixture of the season as Liverpool prepares to face off against Manchester United. The rivalry between these two clubs is unparalleled in English football.
They are indisputably the two most successful teams in the country, with Manchester United holding the record of 20 league titles, while Liverpool boasts six Champions League trophies, double that of their closest English rivals, none other than Manchester United.
This season, Manchester United has undergone another transformation under the leadership of Erik ten Hag, and many now view them as serious contenders for the title, alongside Arsenal and City. However, true to the tradition of not directly competing with them at the top, Liverpool has once again fallen surprisingly low in the standings.
