Al Ahly an easy 4-1 win over second-division Tersana in a friendly match on Wednesday, with new signing Dominique da Silva getting on the score sheet.
Mohamed Abou-Treika scored in the 11th minute of the first half.
Amr Basiouni leveled things for Tersana in the 38th minute, but Mohamed Barakat restored Ahli’s lead on the stroke of half time.
in the second half, Emad Meteb scored the 3rd goal on 67 minutes and Mauritanian Da Silva put the icing on the cake 12 minutes from time.
Striker Geddo pulled a hamstring after coming on as a second-half sub, the Reds said the extent of the injury has yet to be determined.
The match witnessed impressive attendance at Ahli’s Helmi Zamora Stadium, where the Ultras Ahlawy group kept chanting nationalistic songs for long spells of the game.
Al Ahly will also face Harras Hodoud and Wadi Degla in the current break before resuming the league season.
