Egypt 3-1 UZBEKISTAN | Olympic Team Friendly Match
Egypt Olympic team beat Uzbekistan 3-1 on Friday on their training camp in UAE.
In a game that witnessed a good number of Egyptians in the stands in Dubai, skipper Ahmed Shokri opened the scoring with any easy tap-in before the break, but Kenja Turaev equalized for Uzbekistan on 75 minutes.
But promising Petrojet forward Marwan Mohsen restored Egypt’s lead with a fine finish on 79 minutes, before Mahmoud Abdul-Monem ‘Kahraba’ made it three with an 83rd minute header.
After finishing their camp in the UAE, the Egypt squad will now fly to Europe for a friendly with Spain on February 28.
