Zamalek snatched a hard-fought berth to the CAF Champions League group stage after drawing 2-2 at Ethiopia’s Saint George to qualify on the away-goal rule.
Burkina Faso forward Abdoulaye Cisse was the hero for the Whites, scoring two headers in the first and last two minutes of the game.
Goals from Shimelis Bekele and Isaac Isinde saw the hosts lead until the 88th minute when Cisse notched in the all-important goal.
