Zamalek 2-0 El-Geish | Match Highlights

Zamalek made it two wins out of two in the Egyptian Premier League after goals from Ahmed Zizo and Omar El-Said, the same duo who netted in the opening win over Enppi, gave them an easy 2-0 victory over Talae El-Geish on Sunday.

In carbon copy of the 2-0 victory over Enppi, Zizo converted a first-half penalty before setting up lone striker El-Said for a second three minutes past the hour mark.

Zizo was once again Zamalek’s standout performer to take his tally to two goals and as many assists in the opening two matches as the defending champions made a fine start to the season.

Zamalek and Pyramids, who beat top-flight debutants Pharco 2-1, have six points on top of the table. Cairo giants Ahly could join them if they beat NBE club later in the day.

El-Geish are rooted to the bottom after failing to bag any point, having tasted a 3-0 defeat by NBE in their opening game.
