Ittihad star Mohamed Nagi ‘Geddo’ scored a hat-trick as the Alexandrian side strolled to the Egyptian Cup quarter finals on Tuesday after overwhelming lower division side Tanta 6-1.
Egypt’s attacking midfielder Geddo gave Ittihad a three-goal advantage, before Mahmoud Samir bagged a brace.
Mahmoud Shaker completed half a dozen of goals for Ittihad before lowly Tanta scored the consolation goal.
Ittihad will face Ismaili, who outclassed Gaish 4-0 on the same day, in the Egyptian Cup quarter finals on Saturday.
